Starts at 1:30 pm (Eastern time)
Adeline was born October 1, 1927 in Knox, Indiana to Robert and Delores (Seagrave) Cecrle of Granger, Indiana. She was married to Gail North Jr. from March 1961 until he passed away in February 2017.
Adeline treasured the friendships and the staff at Hubbard Hill, who made her feel like family. She especially enjoyed the close friendship and meals with her best friend, Dolores Eggers. Adeline spent many hours watching her favorite pastors on TV. She was a resident at Hubbard Hill for the past 7.5 years, and is now enjoying the splendor of God’s glory in her eternal home.
Following her retirement, she and her husband enjoyed traveling around the United States and Europe, but her favorite destination was the Holy Land, which she visited many times. Adeline is survived by her brother, Dan Cecrle of Gautier, MS, and her daughters Carolyn (North) Norman (Steve Dickinson) of Richmond, VA; Linda Rink Stevens (Stan) of Piney Flats, TN; Connie (Roger) Chrispyn of Goshen, IN; and Sharon (Larry) Brown of Osceola, IN; as well as nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Adeline was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers (Harold and Richard Cecrle), and a daughter (Nancy Skibbe).
The family would like to thank the staff at Hubbard Hill and the Heart to Heart Hospice team for their compassionate and outstanding care throughout the last chapter of Adeline’s life. We are particularly grateful for her niece, Julie, for her many hours of time and care she so generously gave her Aunt Adeline.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM on Tuesday April 28th 2026 at Hubbard Hill Chapel 28070 County Rd 24West, Elkhart, IN, which will be followed by the Celebration of Life Service at 1:30 PM. Burial will then follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, In.
