On September 16, 2016 Aleta Place 87 went home to be with her Lord and Savior; Jesus had long ago prepared her for. Aleta was born to Charles and Bernice (Bristol) Rollf in Buchanan MI. where she was raised and later graduated with the class of 1947. Aleta married the love of her life Myron Place on November 8, 1948 and they would stay happily married until his death. One of her great accomplishments was learning to play the organ at age 50. She enjoyed reading sewing taking walks and dancing and would always enjoy playing a game of cards Kings in the Corner. Aleta is survived by Sons Dennis(Susan)Place, Randy Place Daughters Dawn Place, Debbie(Howard)Morse, Karen(Tim)Cornwell, Cheryl(Kevin)Barnes, Janet(Gene)Minx, Brothers Floyd and Russell Rollf and two Sisters Shirley(Joe) Gober and Deanna(Walt)Pinkerton, fifteen grandchildren and thirty five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, four sisters Phyllis (Judd)Walls, Donnis Lucker, Doris Yazel and Helen Kreiger and three grandchildren Shannon, Joshua and Thad. There will be a gathering of friends and family Tuesday September 20, 2016 at Chapel Hill Funeral home 10776 McKinley Highway Osceola IN 46561 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm with a funeral immediately starting at 2:00pm burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The families preferred memorial is Alzheimer's Associations Greater Indiana Chapter 50 E. 91st Street, Suite 10 Indianapolis, IN 46240 in Aleta''s memory. The family would also like to give a special thanks to Woodland Terrace Senior Living for all of the care and love they have shown to Aleta.
