Alfred W. Frost , 75, of Elkhart, died Saturday July 4, 2020 at Elkhart General Hospital.  Al was born February 12, 1945 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of (the late) Henry Thomas & Rosie Mae (Hamm) Frost. Al served his country faithfully in the US Army and SSG Frost retired in 1989 after 21 years of service. On March 15, 2013, Al's wife Arizona "Betty" Frost preceded him in death.  Al was a member of the VFW and the DAV posts in Elkhart; he enjoyed fishing, especially with his grandson and he was also an avid car enthusiast, having several classic cars and trucks over the years. In addition to his wife Betty, Al was also preceded in death by his brothers, Herman Frost and Earl Frost. He is survived by his children, Tammy Frost of Goshen, Thomas Frost of Shipshewana, Rhonda Frost of Mishawaka, Tonia (Randy) Flowers of Elkhart and Pricilla (Matthew) Johnson of Elkhart; his grandchildren, Tommy Davis and Angie Frost, both of Goshen, Aaron (Amy) Frost in Ohio, and Justin Smith, Anthony (Melissa) Frost, William (Sabrina) Johnson, Katelyn Johnson and Kaylee Dollinger, all of Elkhart; great-grandchildren, Elias Jay, Sapphire Rose, Addison, Paisley, Liam, Brody, Nathan, Carson, Aria and Riley; sister, Berlina Stamper of Radcliff KY; brother, Glen (Cindy) Frost of Elkhart and his sisters-in-law, Betty Frost of Elkhart and Sue frost of South Bend. Funeral Services 2:00 Thursday July 9, 2020 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. Visitation Wednesday from 4-8pm in the funeral home.
