Alice Scully, 92, of Granger, passed away on Sunday August 21, 2022 at home peacefully surrounded by her family.  She was born on June 29, 1930 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Chester and Nellie (Wales) Rogers.  She married Oliver Scully in 1955.  He preceded her in death in January of 2005.

She is survived by her daughter, Leighann Whybrew; a granddaughter, Erin (Morgan) Salmons; and the sunshine of her life, her great-granddaughter, Wynter Salmons; as well as her older sister, Ruth Chamness..

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Nellie Rogers.

Alice was a member of the PTA when her daughter was in school.  She was also formerly and active member of the Women's Association at Granger Presbyterian Church.  After her husband retired, they were members of Young At Hearts.  She enjoyed knitting, reading, her flowers and travel.  Her favorite place on earth was Pinestead Reef Resort in Traverse City, MI.  Her family was her world.

A funeral service in her honor will be on September 9, 2022 at 1 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Hwy. Osceola, IN 46561.  Friends may visit with the family for an hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
