Alice B. Treash, 80, died Monday October 13, 2014 in Golden Living Fountainview in Mishawaka. The Detroit native was born February 4, 1933 to Lawrence P. & Harriet (Viskochil) Hartz. On April 9, 1953 she married Marvin G. Treash, who preceded her in death in 2005. Alice was a homemaker and member of St. Anthony dePadua Catholic Church, and a lifelong member of the Girl Scouts of America. She loved to travel and had visited all 50 states. Alice is survived by her son, Ronald (Mary) Treash; daughters, Patricia (Tom) Muir and Michele Chwalek; grandchildren, Nicole (Steve) Ignotis, Kevin (Kay) Muir, Daniel (Venus) Chwalek, Virginia (Ryan) Shafer, Kathleen Chwalek, Jamie (Mike) Davidson and Jon Treash; great-grandchildren, Matthew Ignotis, Marc Ignotis, Ayza Chwalek and Lukas Chwalek; brothers-in-law, Mike (Barb) Treash, Pat Treash and several nieces & nephews. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 Friday October 17, 2014 in St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, 2114 E. Jefferson Blvd. South Bend where friends may call one hour prior at church. Calling also 5-8pm Thuirsday in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy with Rosary at 7:30pm.
