Alicia Y. Zeiger, age 44, of Elkhart passed away at her residence suddenly on Sunday, December 27, 2009. Alicia was born in South Bend to George and Sherrie Ann (Putek) Dies. Alicia was a graduate of Penn High School, class of 1984,
Surviving is her son, Blake Zeiger of Elkhart, her father, George Dies of Granger, her mother, Sherrie Ann (Gary) DeLucenay of Elkhart, and her brother, Todd (Michelle) Dies of Mishawaka and an Aunt, Sue Whitman.
Funeral services will be private, and entombment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Chapel Hill Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Alicia enjoyed watching movies, and playing with her Golden Retriever, Max. She was her sister-in-law Michelle''s best friend in grade school, and enjoyed telling humorous stories about her youth.
In her memory, donations may be made to the Elkhart Humane Society.
