Allen J. Neely, Jr., 35, of South Bend died Monday, October 11, 2010 at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in LaPorte Co. Born in Elkhart on May 26, 1975, Allen was a cook with the Old Style Deli in Elkhart. He was an avid car enthusiast who also enjoyed fishing & cooking, was a loving father to his children and always had a smile on his face. "He was loved by all who knew him". Allen is survived by his father, A. Jerome Neely, Sr. of Goshen; his mother, Dawn Neely Bohlen of South Bend; his son, Isaiah Alter of Elkhart and his daughter, Tadaysha Neely of Indianapolis. He is also survived by his brothers, Allan J. Reid of South Bend and Jeremy Neely of Warsaw; sisters, Alicia Neely of South Bend, Tasha (William Stott) Neely-Stott of Elkhart, Crystal Neely of Fort Wayne and Eugenia Neely of Elkhart; his grandmother, Lela Mae Neely of Elkhart and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews. Allen was preceded in death by his grandparents, LaVeria & Lawrence Williams and Robert Neely. Memorial Services 2:00PM Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway. Friends may call Saturday from 1-2pm at the funeral home.
