Alvin B. Wylie, 67, of South Bend, died Monday April 30, 2018. The Florence AL native was born March 8, 1951 to (the late) Aaron & Bonnie (Jeffers) Wylie. Alvin was a retired teacher, having spent most of his career at Stanley Clark School and St. Joseph High School. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. Alvin is survived by his sister, Linda Bice of Edwardsburg MI; nieces & nephews, Kevin (Debbie) Bice of Osceola, Bonnie Herman of Edwardsburg and Brian Bice of Elkhart; great nieces & nephews, Brandon Herman of South Bend, Nathan Herman & Jacob Herman, both of Elkhart, Cain Bice of Union MI, Shelby Bice of Edwardsburg, Cayden & Brayden Bice, both of Osceola and great-great nieces, Lillia & Aubrielle Herman. Alvin was preceded in death by his parents; his great-nephew, Cameron Bice and his brother-in-law, Daniel Bice.
