Amber J. McCavitt, 39, of Elkhart, Indiana entered the glorious presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, November 22, 2021. She had an absolute love for her Lord and Savior.

Amber was born to Thomas M. Simmons and Abby Rushford, on May 14, 1982, in Gaylord, MI. Amber had a bubbly personality and a smile that would light a room. She loved to joke, and her laugh was contagious. She had the biggest heart and lived to give to all.

Amber was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She is survived by her dear husband, Joseph McCavitt. Amber loved her children Cody and Nicholas with all of her being. She is also survived by her sister Lynnae Henderson and sister-in-law Crystal (J. Luke) Fountain, brothers Jason (Misti) Simmons, Jacob Rushford, Justin Rushford, Joshua (Christina) Henrickson, Jordan ( fiancé Diana) Henrickson, cherished Stepmother Peggy Simmons, Mother-in-law Bonnie McCavitt and Father-in-law Michael McCavitt, Jr. Amber was also survived by several nieces and nephews, and a bounty of other family and friends near and far.

The Funeral Service will be held at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy, Osceola, IN 46561 on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 7:00 PM, with visitation starting at 4:00 PM.
