Amos W Dooley, 66 of Elkhart, Indiana departed this life on July 3, 2021.  He was born in New Madrid, MO on May 1, 1955 to Velver and Alice Dooley.  Mr. Dooley recently retired from RC Industries as a welder.  Prior to this, he worked for Vincent Bach for 26 years.  He also served as a head coach and assistant football coach for many years at Pierre Moran Middle School.  He was also a basketball official for over 25 years.  Amos loved to BBQ, play spades, watch sports and spend time with his family.

Amos is preceded in death by his parents Velver and Alice Dooley, brothers Velver Dooley Jr, Willie Allen Dooley and Carl Dooley along with his sisters Glennis Arnold and Mae Helen Kimbrough.  He is survived by his daughters Kelly Dooley of Noblesville, IN, Krystal Dooley of Elkhart, and Dana Crider of Cassopolis, Michigan; his three grandsons, one granddaughter and one great grandson; sisters Alpha Mae (Deotis) Gregory, Telitha Dooley and Queenesther Lovelady all of Elkhart, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service for Amos will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 10AM- 3PM at the Pierre Moran Pavilion 119 W. Wolf Ave Elkhart, IN 46516.
