ELKHART - AMY GIBSON, 93 passed away in Elkhart Saturday morning. She was born to Wellington and Ida (Wilson) Hart in Lagrange, Indiana. Amy married James Gibson January 17, 1940 and they enjoyed fifty plus years together. Amy had been employed by FW Means for over thirty years. She had lived in the Michiana area most of her life. Amy enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking, reading and listening to country music along with traveling. She was member of the Michiana Conservation Club and liked playing euchre with her family and friends but her greatest love of all was being with her children and all of her grand- children. Amy is survived by daughters, Bonnie Lewandowski, Constance A Cowan, Rebecca Chambers, Rita (Kenneth) Shoemaker, daughter in law, Marilyn Gibson, twenty grandchildren, 33 great grand-children and twenty great-great grand-children. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, James, son Ronald Gibson, half brother Curtis Hart, grand- child Michael Lee Trapp and great grand-child, Dylan P Shoemaker. Friends and family may call from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola ,IN 46561 with service to immediately follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Terry Parker officiating. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
