Anita Lynn (nee Myers) Garman-Gaby, 48, of Elkhart, passed Thursday, April 27, 2017. Formerly of Syracuse, she was a 1987 graduate of Wawasee High School and had worked at Four Winds International Corp. Anita lived life to the fullest; she loved boating, going to the beach, was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, obsessed with cooking shows and was a huge Aerosmith & Nickelback fan. She is survived by her children; Amanda (Lamar Pittman) Garman and Cody Garman; grandsons, Amari and Kaiden; mother, Pamela Myers; siblings, Barb (Frank) Parker, Cindy (Jake) Wilcken and Royce Myers; husband, Jon and maternal grandmother, Iris (Elmer) Chamberlin- Woodcox. Anita was preceded in death by her father, James Thornburgh; step-father, Royce Myers; maternal grandfather, Frank Chamberlin; and paternal grandparents, Clyde and Charlene Thornburgh.
