Ann Mast, 96 of Elkhart died Wednesday Feb 17, 2016. The Elkhart native was born July 9, 1919 to John W. & Ruth Karen Matilda (Johnson) Doncaster. She retired as a Secretary/Legal secretary and was a member of Simpson/Faith United Methodist Church. Ann enjoyed square dancing, camping & travelling and served as a Girl Scout leader for many years. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Mast and her sister, Grace (Jones) Moore. Ann is survived by her daughters, Jill (Chuck) Damp of Bristol, Joanne (Randy) Hirsh of Elkhart & Wendy (Steve) Seifert of Granger and her nieces & nephews, including Marla Dixon of Elkhart and Carl (Rena) Jones in New Hampshire. Also surviving are her brothers, John Earl (Mary) Doncaster of Goshen & J.Walter Doncaster of Granger; grandchildren, Julie (Shel Moore) Frick of Elkhart, Dale (Tara) deFerbrache of Elkhart, Jason (Susan) deFerbrache of Elkhart, Liz (Jason) Shepherd of Oakford IL, Chad (Kate) Damp in Connecticut, Chris Damp of Elkhart, Sarah (Gregg) Althoff of Granger, Dianna Matteson of Bristol, Laura Damp of Elkhart, Robert (Kim) Hirsh of Houston, Marianne (Randy) Goering of South Bend, Jennifer Hirsh of Elkhart, Chimmy (Brandon) Sharp of South Bend, Joshua (Becky) Seifert of Gilbert AZ, Becca (Dan) Todd of Union Pier MI, Naomi (Doug) Lake of Erlanger KY, Jonathan (Kathy) Dixon of Elkhart and 41 great-grandchildren.
