Ann L. Reasons, 83, of Mishawaka, died Sunday October 1, 2017. The Elizabeth AR native was born March 3, 1934, to Orvil L. & Tressie B. (Woody) Kerley. On October 27, 1952, Anna married Herbert Clay Reasons in Sturkie AR; he preceded her in death in 2011 after 58 years of marriage. Anna retired from Wells Electronics in South Bend after 30 years with the company. She was a member of Currant Road Church of Christ in Mishawaka, where her husband had served as an Elder. She was known as an excellent seamstress and enjoyed quilting with the Ladies Group at church, loved to cook and kept up with all the cooking shows. She was also a voracious reader and enjoyed gardening and her flowers, as well a caring for her pet Pomeranian, Tuffy. In addition to her parents and husband, Anna was also preceded in death by her sister, Alean (Kerley) Higginbottom and her brother, Robert Walter Kerley. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Ann Reasons and her grandson, Samuel Clay Reasons, both of North Liberty. Funeral Services 10:30 Thursday, October 5, 2017, at Currant Road Church of Christ, 56465 Currant Road, where friends may call for one hour prior to services. Calling also on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. Burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family''s preferred memorial is Camp Indogan, 1128 S. 450W, Angola, IN 46703 of which Anna''s husband Herb participated with other Christian men to help build the original facility.
