Annette F. Rorie, 84, of Osceola, passed away on Friday October 7, 2022 in Goshen.  She was born on Oct. 18, 1937, in Shell Creek, Tennessee to Tate and Beulah (Birchfield) Calhoun.  She married Lyle D. Rorie on Aug. 3, 1953.  He preceded her in death on Dec. 16, 1993

Annette is survived by her children: Jeannette (Greg) Glass, Lyle Shane (Dina) Rorie and Brian Todd (Amy) Rorie; 11 grandchildren; and 3 sisters, Norma Nash, Charlotte Steele and Naomi Smith; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, James and John Calhoun, and her oldest sister, Janet Wingett.

She and her husband previously pastored Osceola United Pentacostal Church, where she taught Sunday School.

She enjoyed birds, flowers, camping and sewing.  Annette attended Edwardsburg First Pentacostal Church.

Friends may visit with the family on Tues. Oct. 11, 2022 from 4-7 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, IN.

A funeral service in her honor will be on Wed. Oct. 12, 2022 at 11 AM at the funeral home.  Her nephew, Pastor Jack Rorie will officiate.  Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
