MISHAWAKA- Annon Miller Jr. 86 passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 12, 2015. A.J. as he liked to be called was a kindhearted man, who always had a smile on his face. He was born on April 28, 1929 to Annon Miller Sr. and Catherine Miller (deceased). A.J. worked at AM General for many years before retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Church of God, Ireland Rd. South Bend. He loved making things with leather or wood. He enjoyed spending time working in his garage or going camping.
On July 28, 1951 he was united in marriage with Iona Holderreal, who survives. Together they had four children Linda Kay Hawkins (deceased), Cynthia (Alfred) Westfall, Robert (Darla) Miller, & Steven Miller. He was also preceded in death by four sisters & one granddaughter Laura Craig. Also left to cherish his memories are three grand children and six great-grand children. A gathering of friends and family will be Wednesday July 15 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Highway Osceola 46545 from 4-7pm. A funeral service will be held Thursday July 16 at 12:00pm at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Muncy officiating, with a visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
