With great sadness, the family of April Sunshine Pegouskie(Miller) announce her passing on January 4, 2025. April touched many lives through her studies in the Social Services program at IUSB through to the Masters degree she earned and then through her work at Riverwood Center. She touched many with her generosity of spirit, kindness and support and love of family and friends.

April Sunshine Pegouskie(Miller) was a loving and beloved mother of, and survived by, her children Jacob Pegouskie, Tristan Pegouskie, Maizie Doerscher. She was the cherished daughter of Robert Bruce and Darla LaRue Miller(Jacobs) and sister of Joseph Rainier Miller(Melissa Miller) and aunt to Joshua Wiggins and Jonathan Wiggins. April Sunshine Pegouskie(Miller)  was granddaughter of Annon Jay Miller Jr. and Iona Lee Miller(Holderread), both deceased, and to Harold Glenn Jacobs and Gertrude(Trudie) Elizabeth Jacobs(Flowers,deceased).
She was niece to: Linda Hawkins(Miller,deceased), Cynthia Westfall(Miller), Robin Casselman(Jacobs), James Jacobs, Jerry Jacobs, Steven Miller, Glenn Jacobs, Jackie Daily(Jacobs).

April Sunshine Pegouskie(Miller) was known for her passion for her German Shepherds Apollo and Titan and her love of giraffes . She was a loving friend. Her shining light has not left this world but shines on in every life she touched.

A celebration of life service is scheduled for January 26 at 1:00pm at St John's Episcopal Church, 226 W. Lexington Ave, Elkhart Indiana 46516.
