Arthur L. Guilmette, 79, of Mishawaka, passed away at 8:30 pm, Sunday, March 24, 2013 in Rivercrest Specialty Hospital. Arthur was born on November 2, 1933 in Fall River, MA, the son of the late Leon and Amanda (Carrier) Guilmette. On February 11, 1956, he married Claudine L. Granning.

He is survived by four children, Perry (Patricia) Guilmette of Elkhart, Peter Guilmette of Mishawaka, and twin daughters, Jeanie Nunemaker of Elkhart and Janet Fiedler of Mishawaka; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Germaine. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and a son Tom.

Arthur proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during Korea. He was honorably discharged in 1954. He will be remembered for his love of fishing and playing cards. He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Granger.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm, Wednesday, March 27, 2013 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, March 28, 2013 in the funeral home with Rev. Bill Schooler officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
