Obituary

Barbara "Carol" Anderson, 65, of Granger, passed away at 8:05 pm, Thursday, September 29, 2011 in her home surrounded by family. Carol was born on June 15, 1946 in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of the late Clarence and Katharina (Brenderman) Ross. On August 27, 1967, she married James Anderson. He passed away on April 15, 2005. She is also preceded in death by two sisters, Kay Dycus and Rita Dwigans.
Carol owned and operated the former Shoe Biz. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and will be remembered for her love of Elvis, traveling and reading.
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda (Ryan) Swords of Granger, three grandchildren, Nolan Swords, Peyton Dwigans and Piper Dwigans, nephew, David (Sarah) Dwigans of South Bend, and a brother, Buddy Ross of Indianapolis.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm, Monday, October 3, 2011 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 pm, Tuesday, October 4, 2011 in Flatrock Baptist Cemetery, Columbus, IN. Rev. Bill Zebell will officiate.
