Barbara J. Glover, 86, of Granger, passed away at 6:55 pm, Saturday, October 18, 2014 in her home. Barbara was born January 6, 1928, the daughter of Allie and Lillie (Minor) Garey. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, three sisters, and two children, John Peak and Linda Jordan. Also preceding her in death was her husband of 47 years, Herman E. Glover. She is survived by three sons, Bobby (Barb) Peak, Tony (Lisa) Glover, Herman Glover, Jr. and one daughter, Sharon (Charles) Risner. She is also survived by one sister, Mildred Hunter, 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Barb lived most of her life in Knox, IN and was a member of the Knox Church of the Nazarene. She loved to read and spend time visiting with family and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00-6:00 pm Wednesday, October 22, 2014 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, October 22, 2014 in the funeral home with Rev. Greg Serafino officiating. Cremation will follow with burial of ashes to take place in Crown Hill Cemetery, Knox, IN.
