Bernadette J. Wittling, 59, of South Bend, IN, passed away on Sunday October 8, 2023 at home.  She was born on June 14, 1964 in South Bend to Robert and Martha (Sheridan) Wittling.

She is survived by her son, Adam (Jessica Armstrong) Bland; two daughters, Sarah (Robert McCullough) Goerke and Arianna (Terrill Boyd) Goerke; 8 Grandchildren: Jayla, Alena, Shilin, Dalylah, T.J., Elise, Mason and J.T.; and her siblings, Jeanine, Giselle, Roberta, Greg and Paul; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Bernadette was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Georgene Wittling, and a nephew, Ronnie Ciesielski.

She was a bartender in local restaurants.  She enjoyed gardening and crafting, but her grandchildren were her whole world.  Her love will live on in them.

A private family graveside service will take place at a later date.

Chapel Hill Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
