Bette Alwine 72, of Mishawaka, Indiana passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 07, 2024.

She is survived by her lifelong partner of 40 years Keith La Cluyze; her daughter Tara Alwine (Melissa Mckelvey); Michelle (Daren) Bodle, and Brian (Stephanie) La Cluyze; a grandson Justin Gwynn and 7 additional grandkids; a great granddaughter Camille Gwynn, whom she absolutely adored, and 8 additional great grandkids; her sister Charlotte Rondot; her niece Charlene Armstrong; and great niece Serenity Thomas.

She was preceded in death by Donald Alwine and her sister Maryann Harmon.

Bette was a loving partner, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a dedicated worker at Thermal Plastics for more than 20 years. and she loved watching Days of our Lives and Hallmark movies with Keith.

There will be no services for Bette, however the family would kindly like you to consider a donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Association (JDRF, 200 Vesey Street, 28th floor, New York, New York 10281) and/or The American Kidney Fund (11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852).
