Betty Jo DeVriese, 81, of Elkhart, passed away on April 16, 2022 in Elkhart.  She was born on May 17, 1940 in Winchester, TN to Luther and Frances (Green) Dotson.  She married Leon DeVriese.  He passed away in 1985.

Betty Jo is survived by her son, Wayne Denman; a granddaughter, Amy Denman and her great-granddaughter, Lucia Hous.  Also surviving is her nephew, Lonnie (Barbara) Dotson.

She was preceded in death by all of her siblings, her parents and her husband.

She retired from Bayer, where she had been a line worker.

Betty Jo was a wonderful person who spent her whole life taking care of others.  She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
