Betty Lou Glaum, 82, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at Promise Hospital in Mesa, Arizona. She was born April 29, 1934 to the late Dewey and Thelma (Murphy) Ellsworth in Mishawaka, Indiana. Betty was a high school graduate and in December of 1952, she married Jesse James Glaum. He preceded her in death in 2004. Betty and her husband were the owners of United Roll Forming in Elkhart. She loved going to the casinos and playing cards with her children and grandchildren. Surviving are her children, Cindy (Pete) Garrage, Theresa Bennett, James (Tammy) Glaum; grandchildren, Shawna (Todd) Bornman, Kristee (Dave) Novak, Michael (Shannon) Glaum, Ashley (Ryan) Smith, Jessica (Shane) Gaisford; eleven great-grandchildren; her siblings, Jerry Devon and James (Sonny). She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jesse; grandsons, Jason Glaum and Chad Smith; her siblings, Robert Lee, Dewey (June) Jr., George Allen (Pud), Alice Marie, Carl Eugene (Bud), Billy Dean (Bill), Lyle (Mick), Ronald D and a twin sister Jane who died at birth, Barbara Ann, Dickey, and Shirley. Friends and family may gather Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 10:00 - 12:00 pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN 46561 with a funeral service starting immediately after at 12:00 pm with Pastor Bob Vale officiating. Burial will follow in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
