Betty Jane Forrester, 76, of Elkhart, passed away at 5:55 pm, Monday, June 20, 2011 in Hubbard Hills Estates, Elkhart. Betty was born on January 21, 1935 in Joiner, AR, the daughter of the late Clyde and Earcell (Garey) Richards. On May 23, 1953, she married Mitchell Forrester. She was a member of Bethany Missionary Church, Elkhart.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Mitchell; two sons, Randy (Nell) Forrester of Weston, FL and David Forrester of Chicago, IL; three grandchildren, Gail Pedroza, Kyle Forrester, Marc Forrester and one great granddaughter, Carrie Forrester. She is also survived by a brother, Bill (Darlene) Richards of Apple Valley, CA and a sister, Patricia (Ivan) Gleize of Wright City, MO. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Carrie Forrester, sister, Joy Anglemyer and two brothers, Clyde and Marvin Richards.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, June 23, 2011 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, June 24, 2011 in the funeral home with Chaplain Dick Matteson officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
