Betty M. Miller's Obituary
Betty Marie Miller, 86, of Mishawaka, passed away at 7:05 am, Friday, November 09, 2012 in Hospice House of South Bend. Betty was born August 7, 1926 in Mishawaka, the daughter of the late Lewis and Bertha Miller. Along with her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her siblings, Louis, Ethel, and Russell.
Betty graduated from Mishawaka High School, class of 1944. She proudly served her country in the U.S. Air Force from 1951-1957. She went on the work for Uniroyal for 25 years before her retirement. She was a member of the Mishawaka High School Alumni Association. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, her special friend and caretaker, Elsie Raes, and her dog, Molly.
Betty was an avid Notre Dame and Chicago Cubs fan. The family wishes to extend thanks to the Center for Hospice Care.
A private burial of ashes will take place in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola is handling arrangements.
The family prefers memorials to be made to The Center for Hospice Care, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637
