Obituary

Betty M. Moulton, age 85, of Osceola, passed away Monday, March 5, 2012 at Elkhart General Hospital. Betty was born August 24, 1926 in Walden, Colorado to the late Carl and Lettie (Erikson) Geer. On June 1, 1945, she married Samuel Moulton in Hawthorne, Nevada. Samuel preceded her in death, passing away in November of 1998.
Surviving is her daughter, Kelli (Matt) Breden of Osceola, two grandchildren, Andrew (Maureen) Breden of Granger, and Krystle Breden of Houston, Texas, and two great-grandchildren, Colton and Molly. Also surviving is her sister, Althea Carlstrom of Holyoke, Colorado and several nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her siblings, Ralph Geer, Robert Geer, Elma "Sis" Hampton, Dorothy "Stubby" Carlstrom, and Maxine Jones.
There will be one hour of calling prior to the 6:00 pm memorial service on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola.
Betty was employed for over 25 years in the composing room and advertising department of the Elkhart Truth. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, and working crossword puzzles. In her younger years, Betty grew up on a ranch in Colorado, and was the queen of the Jackson County rodeo.
