Betty J. Parmley, age 83, of Osceola, passed away Monday, March 31, 2014 at Hospice House of Elkhart County. Betty was born July 24, 1930 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Roman and Edith (Keehn) Tuholski.
Surviving are her children, Darlene Wiley of South Bend, Denise (Tim) Shampel of Osceola, and Dean (Leslie) Parmley of South Bend. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren; Terrie (Chuck) Springman, Shawna (Earl) Williams, Tanya Goeller, Jeffrey (Zee) Wiley, Timothy (Karin) Wiley, Sarah (Casey) Tietsort, Kyle Parmley and Joshua Parmley. Betty is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, and her sister Delores Schroeder of Rolling Prairie, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Edward Tuholski and Joan Rabideau.
Betty retired after many years as a sales associate at Target in Mishawaka. She enjoyed reading, and playing BINGO. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.
Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the 2:00 pm funeral service on Friday, April 4, 2014 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
