Betty J. Puterbaugh, 79, of Elkhart, died Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Elkhart General Hospital. Born January 18, 1931 in Morristown, Indiana, she was a longtime area resident and had retired from the Old Country Buffet. Betty was a devoted & beloved wife, mother & grandmother who displayed kindness & compassion to all. Survivors include her children, Gail (Terry) Wise, Vicky Yoder, Randall (Cathy) Puterbaugh and Lisa Puterbaugh, all of Elkhart; sister, Sandy Plank of Three Rivers, MI, brother, Jack (Kay) Osborn of Edwardsburg, MI; four grandsons and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Puterbaugh; sister, Jan Anderson and brothers, Bill Osborn & Charles Osborn.
