Betty F. Myers, 90, of South Bend, died on Thursday, August 28, 2017 at St. Joseph Regional Hospital. She was born in South Bend on May 14, 1927 to Evert L. Richardson and Mary M. (Holtzapple) Richardson. Betty married Robert Myers in 1952 and he preceded her in death in 2006. She was a member of Community Missionary Baptist Church in Elkhart. She was an avid reader, enjoyed making crafts, and loved to travel. Betty is survived by her son, James (Karen) Cole; sisters, Geraldine (Richard) Kabzinski and Carolyn Moyer; along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert; and 3 sisters and 2 brothers. A private family burial will take place in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
