Betty L. Sharp, 87, of Mishawaka, died Tuesday October 10, 2017. The South Bend native was born March 12, 1930 to Melvin & Bernice (Grindle) McGarrity. Betty graduated from Greene High School with the Class of ''49. A devoted wife & mother, she cherished & enjoyed the times spent with family & friends, and adored her grandchildren & great-grandchildren; she liked gardening, sewing, crochet and reading. In addition to her parents, Betty was also preceded in death by her husband, William Sharp; her sisters, Pat & Charlotte and her brother, William. She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Tokarski of South Bend and Pamela (Lon) Stine of Bristol; her grandchildren, Tara (Joey) Reaves of Niles and Melissa Jaronic of Michigan City; her great-grandchildren, Kylie & Kaden Witty, both of Niles; sister, Virginia (Larry) Stevens in Arkansas and her brother, Michael McGarrity of South Bend.
