Betty J. Stewart, 73, of Bristol died Friday, October 28, 2011 at home. The Kayford, WV native was born on December 25, 1937 to Charles & Madge (Castle) Smith. Betty retired after 24 years, as a grill cook at the Waterfall Restaurant. She enjoyed spending time at home with family & friends, working puzzles and being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Betty is survived by her daughters, Sundae (Rodney) Lyttaker of Bristol and Misty Stewart of Elkhart; sons, Freddie F. Stewart, John F. (Teresa) Stewart, Leonard B. (Sandra) Stewart and Eugene C. (Joyce) Stewart, all of Elkhart, Timothy W. (Leanne) Stewart of Mishawaka and Lawrence H. (Christine) Stewart of Portland, OR; her sister, Dolly Glancy of Windford, WV; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Stewart; son, Manley Allen Stewart; sister, Ruby Stewart; and brothers, Walt, Charlie, Al and Bernard Smith. Funeral Services 3:00pm Monday October 31, 2011 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy, where friends may call on Monday from 1-3pm. Burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
