Betty Ann Hullinger, 81, of South Bend, passed away at 7:40 am, Thursday, January 2, 2014 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. Betty was born on June 30, 1932, the daughter of the late John and Anna Marie (Mustache) Stone. On May 12, 1959, in Chicago, IL, she married Ferris P. Hullinger. He passed on July 21, 2000. She is survived by seven children, David (Tasha) Stone of South Bend, Terry Hullinger of South Bend, Anna (Andy) Thompson of Edwardsburg, MI, Mark Hullinger of South Bend, Michele (Mark) Scheibelhut of South Bend, Jon Hullinger of Mishawaka, and Jackie (David) Harley-Hullinger of South Bend. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, Emma Schmock, Geneva Skye, and Blanche Corbine, and two brothers, Jack Stone and Clifford Miller.Betty was a strong woman with a great sense of humor. She loved her Indian Heritage and attending the Pow Wows of the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe. Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 8, 2014 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy, Osceola. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday in the funeral home with burial to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
