Beverly J. Needham, age 85, of Elkhart, formerly of Osceola, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. Beverly was born July 8, 1926 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Ira H. and Marie (Ruch) Wilson. On June 23, 1945, Beverly married Adrian Needham. He preceded her in death, passing away in 1961.
Surviving are her children, Tony Needham of Frostproof, FL, Sandra (Thomas) Curtis of GA, and Teri (Michael) Vinson of Elkhart. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren; Jeffrey (Jennifer) Sager, Jodi (Dennis) Mejia, Jeffrey Curtis, Julie Curtis and Michael Needham, along with 7 great grandchildren, Paige, Adrienne, Kaitlin, Marcus, Christian, Avery and Elizabeth. Beverly is also survived by her brother Don Wilson of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by her brothers Homer, Earle, and Robert Wilson, as well as a grandson Anthony Paul Needham.
Calling will be held 2 hours prior to the 6:00 pm Memorial Service on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola.
Beverly was employed for many years as a bookkeeper for Golden Rule Press and Imperial Stamping, and in her later years worked part-time for Martin''s Supermarkets in Mishawaka. She was a member of the Osceola United Methodist Church, and the Order of the Eastern Star, Osceola Chapter #598.
Beverly loved to work in her garden, and loved all things purple. She was an avid fan of both the Chicago Cubs, and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren participate in sports.
