Beverly Ann Sharp, age 53, of Elkhart, passed away suddenly at her residence on Monday, December 22, 2014. Beverly was born January 25, 1961 in Mishawaka, Indiana to the late Allen and Barbara Ann (Horvath) Rantz. Following her high school graduation, she obtained an Associates Degree, and worked as an accountant for over 30 years with Sharp Baton in Elkhart. Three years ago, her sense of adventure led her to obtain a CDL, and become an over the road truck driver for Millis Transfer out of Black River Falls, Wisconsin. She loved driving and seeing the United States.
Surviving are her children, Ross (Lourdes) Sharp, Owen (Kindra) Sharp and Erika Sharp, all of Elkhart, and her step-daughter, Raquel (Jason) Curtis of Bristol, and eight grandchildren: Kelsey, Kaitlyn, Zakkary, Leo, Olivia, Kaidin, Kyler and Paislee. She is also survived by her boyfriend, Vaughn Herald of Elkhart, and her brother, John (Pam) Rantz of Syracuse, Indiana.
Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the 7:00 pm funeral service on Friday, Dec. 26, 2014 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola.
Beverly loved horses, and enjoyed spending time watching her children ride in competitions throughout the area. She loved her children, and loved to spoil her grandchildren as well. Her radiant smile, helpful and caring nature, and sense of humor will be greatly missed.
