Beverly M. Kuntz, age 91, of Mishawaka passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 17, 2016 at her home. She was born June 26, 1924 to Chester and Beulah M. (Wordinger) Smith in Mishawaka, Indiana. Beverly worked for Ball Band and for Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home for over 30 years serving as office manager for over 12 years. Watching her family grow thrilled Beverly and gave her many, many, laughs. She enjoyed her family and friends, flowers, watching a garden grow on a sunny spring day, car rides, and all the simple things in life. Among her many talents, Beverly could fly and land a small aircraft as smooth as silk, being a co-pilot for our family for over 20 years. Surpassed by her love for the great-grandsons, she dedicated her life to Jehovah God of which she was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah''s Witness for many decades. She truly loved each and every one of you Brothers and Sisters at the Hall. Beverly was the most kind and gentle spirit that ever walked the face of this earth. We miss you dearly Mom, Grandma, and Friend. Beverly is survived by her children, Randall Ray (Dixie) Kuntz of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, and Dian (John) Hawkins of Osceola; three grandchildren, Brian (Reema) Shown, Cristina Hawkins, and Jason (Jody) Hawkins; and most important her four great-grandsons whom she so loved and adored, Brian M. Jones, Kaston R. Hawkins, Kaiden Shown, and Taj Shown. She was preceded in death by her best friend and twin sister, Betty June Buck. They were the true meaning of twins. There will be a time of visitation on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN 46561 from 4-8 PM. A funeral service in Beverly''s honor will be held on Monday, May 23, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Fairview Cemetery following the service.
