DENHAM, IN- Billy R. Lard, age 74, passed away on February 24, 2019 at Hickory Creek at Winamac.

He was born July 23, 1944 in Savannah, Tennessee to the late William M. and Clara C. (Curry) Lard. Billy was inducted into the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing, shooting. Veteran's outings, watching wrestling, cooking, and spending time with family. Billy was loved by many and will always be remembered as a man with a great sense of humor.

Billy is survived by his daughters, Cathern Qualls of Elkhart and Cynthia Lawrence of Tennessee; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; 8 siblings; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Joan M. Lard; daughters, Sharon Yoder, Donna Qualls, and Deborah Myrick; parents; 4 brothers.
