Blaike P. Glassburn, 10, of Mishawaka, died Tuesday, June 14, 2016 in Monticello, IN from injuries sustained in a campground accident. Blaike was born in Mishawaka on May 15, 2006, to Shawn Glassburn and Del-Marie Hershberger. He was a student at Twin Branch Elementary School and would have been in the 5th grade this fall. Blaike attended Granger General Baptist church with his family and was known as a loving & caring boy who always had an interest in helping others. He enjoyed playing basketball and was a fan of the Cubs and the Bulls. Blaike also liked watching soccer & Sponge Bob, riding his bike, using his tablet and eating at Hacienda. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Porter and his grandmother, Mary Thrasher. Blaike is survived by his parents, Shawn Glassburn & Del-Marie Hershberger of Mishawaka; his brothers, Alex & Trevor Glassburn, both at home; grandparents, Dawn Porter & Sherry Glassburn, both of Mishawaka and several aunts, uncles & cousins.
