Bonnie Mae Miller, age 74, of Elkhart, passed away at home Saturday, March 22, 2014. Bonnie was born February 17, 1940 in Cook, Minnesota. On October 3, 1994, she married Walter Miller in Elkhart.
Her husband Walter survives, along with their children, Christina Miller of Elkhart, William (Wendy) Miller of Edwardsburg, and Victoria (Robert Jr.) Campbell of Elkhart. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, Tabitha Campbell, Katrina (Kurtiss) Rule, William Miller Jr. Amber Cowley and Robert Campbell III, and 4 great grandchildren, Alliea, Brandon, Cordell, and Alexander. Bonnie is also survived by her siblings, Carroll "Bud" (Barb) Briggs of Three Rivers, Delores "Dee" Garcia of Laguna Woods, California, and Luella Briggs of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph E. Horswill and Sara F. (Edison) Sterling, and a brother, Arley Horswill.
Bonnie was employed for many years at Kik Custom Products in Elkhart before retiring in 2011. She enjoyed, fishing, gardening and flowers, and going to the casinos. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as being home with her family, where they would gather for cookouts and family time.
There will be a graveside service at 10 am Tuesday, Mar. 25, 2014 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
