IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bradley Allen
Bolinger
December 16, 1960 – October 24, 2022
Bradley Allen Bolinger, 61, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away on October 24, 2-22 with his wife and dear friend, Kathy Cruz, at his side. Brad was born on December 16, 1960 in South Bend, IN to the late Russell Leroy and Lola May (Shireman) Bolinger.
Brad graduated from Riley High School in 1980. He began working for Jackel, Inc. in 1980, where he was a dedicated employee for over 42 years. In 1981, he married Thea M. Ewing and they shared over 41 adventurous years together. They have a son, Shane (Brittany) Bolinger and a daughter, Ciara Bolinger, as well as a boisterous grandson, Landon Bolinger.
Brad enjoyed working with wood and doing household improvements. He looked forward to road trips and vacations with the family. Every summer, he challenged himself to grow the best sweet corn. He was a devoted fan of the Notre Dame fighting Irish and the Indianapolis Colts. Brad was a kind and compassionate person with a servant's heart. He would greet everyone with a single word, "Mornin,'" no matter what time of day. It was not uncommon to see him walking his yard in the afternoon with a Coors in his hand. He was known for his quiet chuckle, which could get him into trouble at times. Brad attended Grace Community Church in Mishawaka, where he greeted everyone with a warm smile and hug.
Brad is also survived by a brother, Russell Bolinger, Jr., of Kentucky; sisters, Angela (Kelly) Tallman of Goshen, Rebecca (Mark) Jimenez of Elkhart and Mary Bradshaw of Goshen; father-in-law, William Ewing and mother-in-law, Rose Ewing of Mishawaka; brothers-in-law, Steve Ewing of Plymouth and Don (Ellen) Ewing of Savannah, GA; 3 nephews, 6 nieces and extended family.
Brad was truly and deeply loved and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
His wife will be honoring his wishes to not have viewing or funeral services.
