Bradley "Brad" Scot Barden, age 54, passed away Sunday, January 24, at his residence. Brad was born August 29, 1955 in Elkhart, Indiana to Wayne and Patricia (Pherson) Barden. Brad graduated from the Brooks Institute with a Bachelor''s Degree in Photography, and was the owner and operator of Barden Graphics where he specialized in printing, sign making, and web design.
Surviving are his parents, Wayne and Patricia Barden of Elkhart, Indiana and his sister, Samantha Duffens and her husband Brian of Topeka, Kansas as well as a niece, Gabrielle Duffens and a nephew, Connor Duffens, both of Topeka, Kansas.
Cremation will take place, and the family will receive visitors from 4-6 pm Friday, January 29, 2010 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola.
Brad enjoyed sailing, and spent quite a bit of time doing so with his family on Lake Michigan on their sailboat, "Different Drummer." He was also very interested and skilled with computers. In his memory, contributions may be made to the Elkhart County Humane Society.
