Brian Lee Reed, age 52, of Watervliet, Michigan, passed away at his residence on March 25, 2011. Brian was born in Watervleit on August 15, 1958 to the late Richard and Donna (PeGan) Reed. Brian graduated from Brandywine High School in 1978, and was employed for many years as a forklift operator at Dexter Axle in Elkhart, Indiana.

Surviving are his siblings, Marcia Loomis of Coloma, Michigan, Kenneth Reed of Houston, Texas, Judi (Arthur) Baxter of Newport Richie, Florida, Dennis (Lois) Reed of Buchanan, Michigan, and Gary Reed of South Bend, Indiana. Brian is also survived by his step brother Bill (Robin) Speckine of Radcliff, Kentucky as well as several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the 3:00 pm funeral service on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola, Indiana. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Brian enjoyed watching movies and listening to music, and was extremely dedicated to his job. He was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Union while employed. In his memory, contributions may be made to the Reed family to assist with final expenses.
