Bruce P. Cavitt, 77, of Osceola, passed away at 8:30 am, Tuesday, September 23, 2014 in his home. Bruce was born on March 14, 1937 in Allegan, MI, the son of Paul and Esther (Lukins) Cavitt. On May 17, 1985, he married Diana Williamson. He is survived by Diana Cavitt of Osceola; two daughters, Lisa (David) Jackson of Bristol and Tresa (Ben) Plotkin of Osceola and two grandchildren, Stephanie Enyeart, and Rachel Enyeart. He is also survived by a sister, Marilyn (David) Ellerby of Ft. Collins, CO, two sisters in law, Pamela Williamson of South Bend and Lou Ann (Chuck) Miles of Mishawaka and a brother in law, Walt Williamson of Mishawaka, as well as, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and his two cats, Mr. Skittles and Pumkin Poo. Bruce worked for French Paper Mill of Niles for 34 years before retirement. He loved to camp and travel. He was a very outgoing man, who never met a stranger. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. A private family service will be held. Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola is handling arrangements.
