Carl D. Curry, 71, of Elkhart, died Monday September 21, 2015. The Waterloo AL native was born July 27, 1944 to Vernon & Ollie (Gibbs) Curry. Carl was a retired tool & die maker and an avid sports fan who enthusiastically supported Alabama Crimson Tide Football, the WWE and also enjoyed drag racing with his son. He liked to travel and visit family & friends in Alabama & Tennessee. Carl was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Louis Curry. He is survived by his daughter, Sheila Kline of Osceola; son, Mike Curry of Mishawaka; grandchildren, Kyle Kline of South Bend and Austin Curry & Brittney Grontkowski, both of Osceola; his sister, Rachel (J.B.) Smith of Savannah TN; brother, Carrol (Linda) Curry of Waterloo AL; best friends, Glenn, Jackie & Jimmy and several nieces & nephews. Memorial Services 7:30pm Thursday, September 24, 2015 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy, where the family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30. Private entombment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family''s preferred memorial is the American Heart Association.
