Carol A. Ameling, 70, of South Bend, passed away in her home at 11:50 am, Thursday, May 13, 2010. Carol was born on July 18, 1939 in South Bend to the late Charles and Elizabeth Stewart. On July 1, 1967, she married Arthur E. Ameling.
She is survived by her husband Art and their three children, Martin Ameling of South Bend, Stewart (Barbara) Ameling of Paw Paw, MI and Mary Ameling of South Bend; two grandchildren, Madelyn and Jacob and a brother, Charles (Pat) Stewart of South Bend. She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Norma Reincke and Elizabeth "Betty" Besemer.
Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 pm, Monday, May 17, 2010 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, May 18, 2010 in the funeral home with burial to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
