Carol A. "Dolly" Seifer, age 78, of Elkhart, passed away at Elkhart General Hospital on Tuesday, November 2, 2010. Dolly was born in Gary, Indiana to the late Joseph and Marian (Bassett) Neill. On July 17, 1947, Dolly married John Seifer in Valparaiso, Indiana. They were married over 62 years.

John survives, along with their daughters, Kathy Peak nd her husband Rick of Elkhart, Indiana and Diane Avery and her husband Joe of Lakeville, Indiana. Surviving as well is her brother Charles Neill and his wife Dorothy of Union Mills, Indiana. Dolly is also survived by two grandchildren; David Fine and Jimmy Peak, both of Elkhart, and two great-grandchildren, Darik and Savanna Fine.

Visitation will be held from 4-6 pm Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, November 5, 2010 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Dolly was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and was known to them as a great cook. She loved being outdoors in her flower gardens, and loved her "grand-dogs" greatly.
In her memory, contributions may be given to Pet Refuge in Mishawaka.
