Carol A. Geist, 63, of Mishawaka, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2011 in Golden Living Center, Fountainview. Carol was born on July 31, 1947 in South Bend to the late Frank and Dorothy (Fredricks) Lininger.
She is survived by a sister, Patsy (Harold) Boehm of South Bend, brother, James (Loretta) Lininger of New Carlisle, two nephews, Denny (Shelly) Boehm and Danny Boehm, both of South Bend. She is also survived by great nephew, Justin Boehm of South Bend and great niece, Paige Shields of South Bend and her best friend, Pam Ewing of South Bend.. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Norman Geist, Jr. and grandchildren, Norman III and Nicholas.
Carol was a caring person, who became the spokesperson for the patients at Fountainview. She was involved in all the activities there and loved to read.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Tuesday, April 5, 2011 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola with two hours of visitation prior to the service. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
