Obituary

Carol Ann (Brock) Glassburn, 63, departed life at 11:18 pm on October 16, 2010 under the care of Hospice, after a short bout with cancer.
Carol was born February 1, 1947 in Bremen, Indiana. She graduated from Bourbon High School. Attended college at Indiana University in Terre Haute and Davenport College in Granger. She moved to South Bend when she married Dallas on July 13, 1970. Carol was employed as a switchboard operator for several years at different employers including Holiday Inn, Dunn Communications, and Osteopathic Hospital of South Bend.

She enjoyed camping, playing and teaching the organ and riding in the side car with her beloved husband Dallas. They rode with ABATE of Michiana, Gold Wing Road Riders, and Christian Motorcycle Association. Camped with Fun Loving Sam''s and Indiana Volunteer Fireman Association. Carol has touched many people throughout her life and will be truly missed by all. Through the many obstacles she faced in life; she rose above them and never lost her sense of humor.

Those left to cherish her memories include a very special mother in law Vada Glassburn. Two children: Paula (Carl) Riley and Christopher Glassburn. Three grandchildren: Nakita Glassburn, Mann Riley, and Marces Riley. Great-Grandchildren: Da''Nayzia Lanee and Darious Easton Jr (2), Chozen Riley, Trey-Shawn and Trinity Fennessee. All of South Bend Indiana.

May other special family and friends including: "Special Children" Theresa Fennessee, Deanna Wardlow, and Chris Erlacher. "Special Grands" including TJ, Trashanna, Tamorrow, and Travonn Fennessee, Anthony and Oliver Newsome, Teshelle Peterson and "Special In-Laws" Margaret (Darwin) Collings and Les Glassburn both of Tennessee. Terry (Ginny) Glassburn of Texas. Roland Young and Velma Fehr.

Carol was proceded in death by her parents Edward F. and Frieda (Klotz) Brock, grandparents Jesse and Ola Klotz. Great Grandchildren: Darianna Easton and Darious Jr Easton (1). Brother Wayne (Betty) Brock.

Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, October 22, 2010 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola with two hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
