MISHAWAKA - Carol A. Davis, 75, passed away December 20, 2017 in Mishawaka. She was born to the late Fred and Mary (Jones) Hynson on December 23, 1941 in Kansas City, Missouri. Carol married Mr. Dwight Davis September 16, 1967. This year marked their 50th wedding anniversary.
Carol loved to read. She turned that love into a successful bookstore in downtown Mishawaka called Second Impressions. She also enjoyed nature and especially liked to observe the loons from her riverside home. Carol and her husband liked to travel together. She and her family shared fond memories of trips to Beaver Island in northern Michigan. Carol was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be deeply missed.
Carol is survived by her dedicated husband, Dwight Davis of Mishawaka; sons, Troy Esposito and Brent (Beth) Davis, also of Mishawaka, and one grandson, Luke Davis.
