Carolyn J. Hare, age 79, of South Bend, IN passed away March 21, 2023. A life resident of the area, she was born April 9, 1943 in South Bend to the late Carroll and Henrietta (Witcuski) Heckman. Carol spent over thirty years transporting the communities children as a school bus driver. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Larry Heckman. She is survived by her husband Robert Hare, sons John, James (Jody), and Berl (Cheryl) Hare as well as four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be announced by the family at a later date and time.
